The Timberwolves got back on track Thursday with a solid 4-1 win over Shawnee Heights. Coming off a 3 game stretch where BVSW played the two-time defending 6A champs (BV West), the 2010 6A state runner ups (BVNW) who is ranked #24 in the US by Max Preps and the defending 5A state champs (St. Thomas Aquinas) in succession, BVSW wasted no time sprinting to a 2-0 half-time lead.
BVSW goals were scored by Amanda Creason (and an assist), Nikki Lynch, and Holly Weddle, the T-wolves also benefitted from a Shawnee Heights own goal.
BVSW's record improves to 6-3 with another match Friday, April 22 against Tonganoxie.
